2019 has been a busy year! Here’s a short pictorial summary of what I’ve been up to:
JANUARY:
Pumpkin and Sophie (she was still a kitten here!)
I stayed at a castle! I took a short J-term course that consisted of visiting many awesome ministries in Oregon and Colorado. It was an amazing way to start the year off!
FEBRUARY:
It snowed!
And Sophie found her new favorite spot to nap. I was kept busy with school and work, but managed to find some time to chill with my baby girl!
MARCH:
Pumpkin needed attention, especially when I was doing school work.
And of course, I made room for Sophie, too.
I continued to help with Table Time at my church – an opportunity for children to do a craft or activity in the front of the sanctuary while listening to the sermon.
APRIL:
It was warm enough to open the windows again! I wonder what had their attention.
We had a beautiful Easter Sunday service at church. The crosses made by people in the were such an amazing addition to the sanctuary!
MAY:
After the spring semester ended, I got to have some quality time with these furry friends!
I decided to take control of my money and cut up all my credit cards.
JUNE:
I spent a day on the beach… I was cold. And yes, I wear socks with my slides.
So the month started off nice, but ended at almost 100 degrees! The heat I love, the humidity not so much.
JULY:
I got to work the most amazing summer job ever… YMCA specialty camp! We did different things each week, from cooking and camping to pottery and science! It was such a wonderful experience and I’d love to do it again.
I also went on my youth group’s yearly mission trip, this time to Maryland. I always have such an amazing time on these trips!
AUGUST:
One of my summer camp field trips… we went gleaning! This was awesome!
Vacation Bible School… my second favorite week of the summer!
My mom and I went to Philadelphia to do some history tours!
SEPTEMBER:
The new school year started up, so Sophie decided to take over Pumpkin’s role of preventing me from studying.
Pumpkin fell in love with this tunnel. Seriously, she loves it so much.
OCTOBER:
I made a Hebrew section of my wall. It hasn’t helped that much, though…
I found dairy free cheese sauce! It’s so good!
I got a keyboard! Time to learn!
NOVEMBER:
I started physical therapy… it was exactly what I needed! Sophie likes to help me with my stretches.
DECEMBER:
Pumpkin reclaimed her place on my desk.
JP MASH staff! I love this job so much.
DECEMBER:
The aftermath of the snowstorm that closed school.
My finals study breaks involved the wrapping of presents.
You’re going where for three weeks????
Deer and my car do not get along. The driver side mirror was destroyed also.
My girls hanging out on my bed at my mom’s place. They are staying with Aunt Sara while I’m in Israel! Hopefully they make friends with Shadow sooner than later!

As much as I enjoyed 2019, I am so much more excited for 2020. A new year, a new decade. New experiences and new opportunities. It’s going to be amazing!
Peace,
Kristy
